Planning Assumptions (a.k.a. Environmental Scan)
- Evaluate and understand Division’s 23 department’s needs and future strategies, and accommodate in SIS&T technology strategy and plans.
- Budget downturn: Carefully evaluate costs, efforts and returns on investment for requested projects. Validate priorities before committing resources
- Leverage new technology and tools for software development to continuously improve our quality and effectiveness
- Leverage newer systems technologies to gain 24x7 reliability, scalability, and flexibility
