UCPath Implementation

The SIS&T UCPath Implementation Team is responsible for implementing mandatory student information system changes, in support of the campus conversion to the new UCPath human resources and payroll information system. Several student information systems will be impacted by the UCPath implementation because they are highly integrated into and rely upon other systems that are required to be modified by the implementation. See key dates and affected systems below:


  • 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6 (rescheduled from Sept. 5)Dry-run implementation test in the TEST environment only
  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7: Dry-run implementation test in the TEST environment only
  • 9 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17: UCPath implementation cutover
  • 6-11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19: Post-implementation maintenance
  • Thursday, Sept. 27: UCPath goes live across UCSB campus


A set of SIS&T-managed systems will be down from 9 a.m. Sept. 16 to 5 p.m. Sept. 17. View a calendar of all UCSB systems outages at https://www.ucpath.ucsb.edu/go-live/ucsb-system-outages. From 6-11 p.m. Sept. 19, the SIS&T will conduct UCPath maintenance, but no systems will be made completely unavailable.
