FAQs
What is Statuspage?
Statuspage is an incident and scheduled maintenance management system that allows SIS&T to quickly and accurately communicate regarding incidents and scheduled maintenance that have an impact on SIS&T-supported systems.
How do I Use Statuspage?
If you notice an application is not functioning properly or otherwise unavailable, you can navigate to the Statuspage (http://status.sa.ucsb.edu) to see if this is a known incident, and if so, what the current status of it is. Additionally, the site will list upcoming scheduled maintenance toward the bottom of the page, which will let you know of upcoming known work that may impact the systems or services you utilize. Lastly, you may also subscribe to receive updates via email and/or text message when incidents do occur.
What if I Experience an Issue Not Listed on Statuspage?
If you experience a major issue (e.g. an application is completely unavailable) and it is not listed on Statuspage, please contact the Help Desk (support@sa.ucsb.edu or x7962) to make us aware of the issue. We can then begin looking into a resolution, and update the Statuspage site as appropriate to ensure transparent communication and updates surrounding the incident in question.
